A rare countertenor, Terry Barber was a member of the multiple Grammy winning ensemble, Chanticleer. He has been a soloist for many of the best venues around the world, from the Metropolitan Opera to Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall and can be heard on recordings with artists from Madonna to the London Philharmonic. Terry’s most recent solo album was considered for 6 Grammy nominations in a category with Barbara Streisand, Andrea Bocceli, Josh Groban, Willie Nelson, and Kristin Chenoweth. A voting member of NARAS (Grammy Awards)Terry completed the musical theater program at Northwestern University, a Masters Degree in Historically Informed Performance from Trinity College London, and a nonprofit Management Certificate from Duke University. Terry founded the nonprofit organization, Artists for a Cause to support artists who use their talent to meet critical community needs.
