For-Profit versus Non-Profit Your event is considered to be a “For Profit” event unless you have official non-profit status as granted by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Minimum Rental Times: A four-hour minimum block is required for Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Insurance: Special event insurance is required.
Merchandise: A 15% standard merchandise commission is charged for every event. The Aeolian will provide a volunteer to assist with merchandise sales upon availability. The Aeolian reserves the right to audit merchandise sales and requires copies of settlement paperwork for our files.
Consulting: We want every event at the Aeolian to be successful and want to work with clients to achieve this goal. Each rental comes with a maximum of two hours of staff consulting time including hall tour, questions and policy/contract review. Additional consulting time will be billed at a $25 hourly rate.
Vacating Time: Hall must be vacated by 1 AM. After midnight, hourly fees increase by 50%.
Rates: All Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates do not include HST.
Confirming Your Event Booking: Holds placed on rentals require confirmation and a 25% deposit within 10 days from the time of the booking.
Bookings are not confirmed unless a 25% non-refundable deposit is paid.
Balance of hall rental is to be paid 60 days in advance of your event.
Facility Space Uses:
The use of rooms or spaces other than the Performance Hall, Merchandise Area in the West Lobby and Green Room may be available at the discretion of Aeolian Hall Management.
Extra Charges will apply for the use of these spaces.
