The Aeolian is a fully licensed facility and clients can bring drinks to their seats at both the balcony and main floor levels.

Aeolian’s House Sound and Lighting Tech: Christoph Hodgins-Babin

Christoph has taught Live Audio and served as technical maintenance technician at the Ontario Institute of Recording Technology (OIART).  For over three decades he worked as a freelance live audio engineer for local production companies and touring bands.  His work has taken him into venues ranging in size from clubs and houses of worship to theatres and arenas.  Each upcoming show is a new delight for Christoph.  He loves cultivating the trust of artists to help them perform at their best.  Christoph is a foundational pillar in the success of Aeolian’s reputation as one of the best venues in Canada.

A 15% standard merchandise commission is charged for every event. The Aeolian will provide a volunteer to assist with merchandise sales upon availability. The Aeolian reserves the right to audit merchandise sales and requires copies of settlement paperwork for our files.

Consulting:
We want every event at the Aeolian to be successful and want to work with clients to achieve this goal. Each rental comes with a maximum of two hours of staff consulting time including hall tour, questions and policy/contract review. Additional consulting time will be billed at a $25 hourly rate.

Vacating Time:
Hall must be vacated by 1 AM. After midnight, hourly fees increase by 50%.

Rates:
All Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates do not include HST.

Confirming Your Event Booking:
Holds placed on rentals require confirmation and a 25% deposit within 10 days from the time of the booking.

Bookings are not confirmed unless a 25% non-refundable deposit is paid.

We offer you the greatest flexibility in choosing a caterer for your event. Whether you are doing a fundraiser, wedding, party or concert, you are welcome to explore the culinary choices that best suit your event.

If you require assistance in choosing a caterer please contact us as we have experience with various caterers in the area. We will strive to find you the perfect match making your occasion unique and memorable.

We want every event at the Aeolian to be successful and are willing to work with clients to acheive this goal. Each rental comes with a maximum of two hours of staff consulting time including hall tour, questions and policy/contract review. Additional consulting time will be billed at a $25 hourly rate.

A cleaning fee of $50.00 is charged for all catered events to cover the cost of additional cleaning.

Bishop Cronyn Memorial Place has a large performance space at the front of the church. The space is divided into two levels with hardwood floors.

Stage details

The stage area is multi-functional. A slightly elevated stage is centre front floor, perfect for a recital, orchestra or performance in the round. A further elevated stage and choir loft is on the west end of the hall.

Hall Details

Large vaulted wood ceiling, church pews, a balcony area, transepts and beautiful stained glass make this space a unique place to hold your event.
