Art Shows at Aeolian

Such a work of art

The Aeolian hosts regular Art Shows featuring works of local artists. The artwork is displayed in the main hall and lobbies on walls and remains there for the duration of the show. The average show is three to four months and is seen by Aeolian Clients during shows and during special gallery viewing hours. All art shows have opening nights giving an opportunity to meet and socialize with the artists. These opening night reception is free to attend.

Interested in showing? Aeolian accepts two types of requests:

  1. a collective, featuring a variety of artists showing between 30 and 40 pieces
  2. individual artists that the aeolian will match with other artists to form a cohesive show of up to 3o-40 pieces total

Given our limitations on space, the Aeolian can accept only one three dimensional or sculpture piece per show. Please ask to see the installation box in advance.

Quick Facts:

  • Aeolian art shows have featured dozens of emerging and established artists
  • The Aeolian brings 70,000 plus clients into the hall annually giving artists a larger viewing than most galleries
  • Sales are approximately 30% of exhibited works
  • Aeolian takes a 30% commission on all sales which helps with its mission
  • A great way to engage our clients and make a richer experience during their visit
  • A wonderful way to support local artists
  • Collaboration with other organizations such as University Hospital to jointly raise funds with art
  • Generally speaking, aeolian hosts two major shows per year – January to April and September to December.  If a busy summer season is expected, the Aeolian may extend a show or install a show for a shorter period sometime in the months of may to august.

All pieces are available for immediate purchase and pick-up at Aeolian Hall at 795 Dundas Street, London, Ontario.

A representative will contact you as soon as possible to arrange payment (credit card or eTransfer in advance of the pick-up appointment) and schedule curbside pick-up at Aeolian Hall.

With thanks to the artists, the Aeolian Hall receives 50% of the sale of each work with proceeds going toward our programs like El Sistema Aeolian and the Pride Men’s Chorus London.
