Discovering the World at the Piano: Hidden Treasures from the World’s Piano Repertoire

Over the past six years, a remarkable journey has unfolded.

What began as a personal recording project grew into an exploration of thousands of piano works from every corner of the globe. Along the way came unexpected discoveries: forgotten composers whose music had fallen silent, extraordinary voices overlooked by history, and friendships formed with listeners, musicians, scholars, and composers across continents.

This recital is a reflection of that journey.

Rather than following the familiar path of the traditional piano recital, The World at My Piano celebrates the richness and diversity of our shared musical heritage. The programme travels across countries, cultures, and generations with remarkable works that deserve to be heard far more often. Each piece offers a glimpse into a different musical landscape, revealing how the piano has become a universal language through which stories, traditions, and identities are expressed.

At its heart, this concert is about discovery. It is an invitation to listen with curiosity, to encounter new voices alongside familiar ones, and to celebrate the extraordinary breadth of the piano repertoire.
