Celebrating Volunteers: Bryan Gloyd and Rod Culham

Volunteers are the heart of The Aeolian’s Mission.  Without them, we would not be able to operate.  This week, we are celebrating two volunteers who have given generously to the Aeolian.

Bryan Gloyd has been a volunteer at The Aeolian since 2006.  We can’t think of a single facet of operations or building maintenance that Bryan has not contributed to.  From Artistic programming to keeping our bars stocked, Bryan has been a major pillar to the Aeolian’s Mission.  Bryan is also a major financial donor to the Aeolian’s operations. On Saturday night at The Rebelheart Collective concert, a plaque with Bryan’s name on it was unveiled giving our new Green Room the honour of his name and philanthropy.

Rod Culham is a retired High School Music and Drama Teacher who continues to be heavily engaged in our community.  Whether conducting four choirs weekly or composing/arranging music, Rod is busier than ever.  Rod donates his time and skill to both Pride Men’s Chorus and El Sistema Aeolian Senior Choir as conductor and arranger.  We are thrilled to award Rod an Honorary Aeolian Rebelheart.
