For over 130 years, the Aeolian Hall has been a beacon – a community gathering place for Old East Village and the City of London. Our goal remains the same: provide universal access to music and music education. Our doors are always open to you. Until now.
It was a difficult decision to close our Box Office and postpone the productions we have scheduled over the next few weeks. Out of the safety for our artists, our volunteers and you – our patrons – we know that this is the most important thing we can do right now to help in slowing the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected thousands around the world.

The livelihood of musicians and the longevity of concert venues relies on ticket purchasing guests. You are our lifeblood. At this time, there are many things you can do to support live music.
- Consider donating the cost of your tickets to the music venue for a tax receipt. As a not-for-profit, when our doors are closed, we cannot continue to operate the programs that are so vital for our community.
- Listen to music: stream it, watch it on TV, YouTube live performances, call local radio stations are request unique, local talent.
- Discover new artists. Streaming services are a great way to find artists who are similar to those that you already love.
- Put words to paper. Pick up an old instrument you have laying around and learn it all over again.
To all our friends: artists, agents, patrons, volunteers – be safe and stay healthy. Ensure that you are social distancing. Be kind to one another. When you can, share what you have. Continue to follow our website for a full list of postponement dates and cancellations.
