Born and raised in London, Ontario, Ken Yates has steadily grown a reputation as one of Canada’s brightest singer/songwriters. His album “Huntsville”, produced by Jim Bryson won two Canadian Folk Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year and New Artist of the Year. He’s received praise from the likes of John Mayer, was nominated as Sirius XM’s The Coffee House Discovery of the Year and was recently on tour supporting the artist Passenger.
Expertly navigating that rarefied space between elegiac folk and accessible pop, Toronto-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Kunder has emerged as one of the most electrifying musicians on the indie scene and a sought-after live performer. He has toured extensively across Canada, Europe, UK and most recently the US, his music garnering critical acclaim and airplay from many respected international radio programmes such as BBC1 and BBC2 in the UK, RTE in Ireland, NPR in the US, and CBC Music in Canada. Kunder’s dazzling sophomore album “Better Human”, was released in June 2018 and he is currently in studio putting the finishing touches on his third full length album, which is set to be released in early 2020.
