The Aeolian Phoenix Sessions take centre stage… in the comfort of your own home. Each month we premier at least four artists’ recordings from the Aeolian stage. Membership to the Phoenix Sessions is $20 per month (recurring) and you select the productions you want to watch.

Aeolian’s Phoenix Sessions are proud to produce four outstanding performances in February. For just $20 you have access to all four digitally streamed productions anytime, anywhere. Craig Downie and Trevor Lewington have been writing, recording and touring together as part of the Celtic Rock band, Enter The Haggis, for over 20 years.  They began performing as a duo in support of Trevor’s debut solo album, Lion of Grace, which has taken them internationally.  In addition to his piping with Enter The Haggis, Craig is a member of The Durham Regional Police Pipes and Drums, and had been scheduled to play at the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland until the virus struck.

The songs that Craig and Trevor play together are a mix of traditional folk songs, pipe tunes and originals.  Picture yourself with a pint, listening to music in a pub on a Saturday night, only from the comfort of your own home!

When performing at the Aeolian, Lewington & Downie insist on playing to a full house.  A full house of STUFFED BEARS!

While their performance on February 5th, 2021 is entirely virtual for humans as part of the Aeolian’s Phoenix Sessions, a bear audience is more than welcome – provided they mind their manners and bathe their feet upon arrival.

At the end of the performance, the bears will make their way to Children’s Hospital where they will share their love and bring smiles to many.

Friends and patrons are welcome to help fill the Hall with bears. The Aeolian can seat 300 of them!

Drop off of new, stuffed bears can be scheduled by contacting the Aeolian Hall by email at boxoffice@aeolianhall.ca. Those who wish to support this initiative without having to purchase a bear can contact Trevor at trevorhaggis@gmail.com to arrange a financial donation (bears will be purchased).

Thirty bears are ready to attend… but we need many, many more to fill all the seats.

Light refreshments and honey flavoured beer will be served to all bears who attend.
