“It’s one thing to just play a tune, or play a program of music, but it’s another thing to practically create a new language of music, which is what Kind of Blue did.” says Chick Corea. Peter Karle and his crew are proud to recreate Miles Davis’ 1959 album in its entirety at The Aeolian… “Kinda”. The Peter Karle Combo is a collective of young London musicians who thrive on the evolution of jazz in their community. Through a full instrumental score of the album and the combo’s own transcriptions, the combo will bring back the conversations of the jazz greats in a new life.
