Laura Gagnon is a powerhouse Canadian pop singer-songwriter based in the London, Ontario area, originally from Eagle and now calling Port Stanley home. Classically trained with Grade 8 certification in both voice and piano from the London Conservatory of Music, she brings a strong technical foundation to her dynamic, theatrical pop style—often described as Disneyesque in its sense of wonder, romance, and high energy.

Whether performing with her explosive eight-piece band or in more intimate piano-and-vocals settings, Laura delivers heartfelt original songs drawn from personal experience. She first began formal training at age eight to help overcome a speech stammer, later honing her craft through private lessons and performance programs before fully committing to a professional career.

A true road warrior with over two decades of experience, Laura has shared stages with Chuck Leavell of the Rolling Stones, Bif Naked, Tyler Shaw, Dale Russell of The Guess Who, and Motown/blues guitarist Gary Martin. She has opened major shows, toured the United States with The Extreme Tour supporting communities in need, and even performed the Canadian and American national anthems at a Vimy Ridge centennial ceremony in France. Locally, she has been recognized as a Tailgate Talent Show Season 6 winner, Canadian Choice Award recipient, Forest City London Music Awards honouree, and winner of Best Music Video at the Chatham-Kent International Film Festival.

Her singles, including “Dark Horse,” “In Our Hearts,” “Ready For The World,” and more recent releases such as “Blue Eyes,” have earned airplay across 170 countries and hundreds of radio stations. Beyond music, Laura has written and acted in projects like the film A Night With Nathan and the holiday series A Chatham-Kent Christmas.

A passionate advocate for women in music, she founded the Doll House Showcase to create supportive spaces for female artists. For Aeolian Hall’s Tunes@Noon series, Laura brings her signature blend of powerful vocals, emotional storytelling, and engaging stage presence—perfect for an intimate midday performance that leaves audiences inspired.
