Stephen is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music director, and music teacher born and raised in Hamilton, ON. He first came to London to attend Western’s Don Wright Faculty of Music over a decade ago and never left. Since graduating, his career has been primarily in live theatre, working professionally across the country as a music director, musician, and performer, but in 2023 he made his first foray into the singer/songwriter world with his debut album “Fridge Magnet Symphony.” This album received radio play across the country, critical acclaim from his hometown paper the Hamilton Spectator, got him a nomination for a 2024 London Music Award, and the song “When I Get Back To London” won 3rd prize in the Aeolian Hall’s inaugural songwriting competition. This September, he releases his second album entitled “Silly Things,” a pop-folk album that centres around the coming of age from 20s to 30s set to the distinct backdrop of London and Hamilton, ON.
