This week has been absolutely astonishing and incredibly fun! We spent the past week with 2 time grammy winner Matt Alber and i can speak for the whole choir when i say we had a blast! Not only is he one of the most talented people I’ve had the privilege of meeting but he is also one of the most kind, caring, and kid friendly musicians ever! Matt exposed us to all sorts of new techniques and learning styles; he pushed us out of our comfort zones and really got us to loosen up. Preparation for the concert was taxing but performing with him was very worth it. We got our groove on as we sang George Michael’s “Freedom” and loved every minute of his cover to cover show. Matt is very personable so we all had a great time connecting with him and bonding over each other social medias. With a stupendous voice and stellar personality, Matt really is an act worthy of any venue.
