London Gospel Collective is a new choir that first came together in April 2022. LGC is a diverse, spiritual community uniting through the power of worship and gospel music, performing songs from the gospel genre and in the gospel style. The people in the choir and the songs that they sing emphasize hope and unity through faith. Their vision is to see gospel music more widely integrated into expressions of worship in London, ON faith communities, to create a space for diverse people – especially people of colour, to authentically express themselves in worship, and to increase the representation of worship styles and worship leaders in the city of London.
