We still have a ways to go to make budget this year and be prepared for another year of giving “The gift of Music, the gift of community”. We thank all of those who have and continue to support our mission and vision. We’ve made great progress in our campaign goals.

It’s been a challenging year for most non-profits in our country. many haven’t made it through. with the current economic challanges, Increased costs of operation, the stresses on our streets, covid outbreaks and continuous construction, our audience levels have been impacted. Even the smallest donation can help us. Consider a monthly donation on Canadahelps.org as an option.

The Aeolian welcomes all levels of support, but if you feel that you can give in larger ways, consider us when preparing your Estate Will or any other type of gift giving instrument. We can assure you that your gift will positively impact greatly on the quality and number of services we provide to the London and region Communities.

TAX RECEIPT

A tax receipt can be provided for monetary donations or donations in kind which have an official appraisal. Donations for services cannot receive a tax receipt as per CRA regulations.

move to new Aeolian Education Campus at First-St. Andrew’s United Church
presenting online, livestreamed concerts to highlight program excellence
returning to in person learning activities first outside, later inside, and finally the first performance of the full symphonic orchestra with a live audience in over two years
collaborative performance with iconic artists such as the Canadian Brass and country music legend Ty Herndon
opportunity for peer mentorship and the leadership class with regular guest speakers including Buffy Sainte-Marie and Peter Fragiskatos
celebration for two students who have accepted admission offers to the School of Music at Western University

resumption of normal concert season in September of 2022
free series called “Sounding Board” to help encourage people back to concerts and also help those economically challenged
planned Second Annual Aeolian Jazz and Musical Arts Festival featuring over 100 performers, musicians and artisans
historic performance by the Jason Max Ferdinand Choir as part of Black Love, a celebration of and tribute to the first meeting of the Canadian League for the Advancement of Coloured People (1927).
performances by Vienna Boys Choir, Voces 8 and King’s Singers
two sold-out nights of the Concert for Peace, a fundraiser for the International Red Cross to support their efforts in assisting those trapped by the war in Ukraine.
installation of three new intimate performance spaces with state-of-the art sound and lighting
launch of the successful Pride Socials on Wednesday evenings

Highlights

formerly “Pride Men’s Chorus”, the evolving initiative now supports all voices and identities
first in-person concert held in December 2022 by Pride Men’s Chorus since the pandemic
performance during fundraiser for Ukraine and World AIDS Day 2022
the Chorus collaborated with Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning country music artist, Ty Herndon
performed at the Pride Celebration for Siloam United Church.
premier performance of “Brave” a celebration of 2SLGBTQ+ history on the Aeolian stage
