It’s April, it’s Poetry Month, and it’s our FINAL SLAM!
Ten top slammers from our 2018-19 slam season battle it out and leave it all on stage in an attempt to win their way onto the 2019 London Poetry Slam team. Five lucky poets will be named to the team and travel to the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, a national slam competition, happening this year in Guelph in October.
We’ll also be featuring poet Mahlikah Awe:ri Enml’ga’t Saqama’sgw! Don’t miss our biggest show of the year!
Slam time: Friday April 26th, 7:30pm (doors 6:30)
Slam spot: Aeolian Hall (795 Dundas St)
Slam price: $10 (at the door, cash only, ATM on site)
