Gina Farrugia is a jazz musician and educator from Southwestern Ontario who studied voice, violin and arts admin at the University of Waterloo and started her career in Hamburg, Germany. She regularly performs with Peter Karle and with jazz and big bands, country bands, church gigs and contemporary multidisciplinary projects. She has performed on a train, on the roof of a car, a Christmas parade float, a riverboat and on a fire truck. She loves when music genre lines are blurred and likes nothing better than talking shop with fellow musicians and getting the stories first hand from the masters.
